Dig a little into the incoming rookies from the Pac-12, and you find some eye-popping numbers. Both Oregon's Bo Nix and Washington's Michael Penix threw for over 4,500 yards last year. Their No. 1 wideouts, Troy Franklin and Rome Odunze, each went over 1,300 receiving yards and caught 14 TDs. more »

Oregon quarterback Bo Nix might be a first-round pick in next month's draft. He put up unreal numbers last year, including a 45-3 TD to interception ratio, while completing over 77 percent of his passes -- highest of any first-round quarterback in the past 20 years. more »

I will be interested to see if a team pulls the trigger on Michael Penix in the first round. He’s an older rookie who’s had some injuries, but he’s really accurate on downfield throws. more »

Factoid: Rookie quarterbacks
If the mock drafts are to be believed, Bo Nix and Michael Penix won’t be among the first four quarterbacks drafted in April. But I notice that both of those Pac-12 quarterbacks in college were unusually good at getting rid of the ball. more »
