ASK THE EXPERTS appears weekly with answers to a new question being posted Thursday morning. How the guest experts responded when we asked them:

Which season-long underperformer do you believe will be a fantasy star the rest of the way?

BOB HECK

Ted Ginn Jr. has had some good moments this season, but we were hoping to see more consistency out of him by now. The rest of the way we see him being much more consistent and much more productive. The loss of Greg Camarillo will certainly send more targets his way. Some would say that there would be more coverage sent his way also. However, the next 4 weeks he'll match-up against the Rams, Bills, 49ers and Kansas City, with only the Bills in the top 20 against the pass (16th), but they've had injury issues in the secondary lately. Even with Camarillo out there, he's been steadily improving catching 13 balls for 206 yards and a TD over the past three weeks.

CHRIS LISS

I would have said Terrell Owens had you asked last week, but that might be a bit obvious at this point. So I'll go with Joseph Addai -- I think the Colts have hit their stride and he'll be big down the stretch.

IAN ALLAN

As lousy as he’s been this year (and he’s been pretty bad) I think LaDainian Tomlinson could pick it up the last month of the season. There are a lot of soft run defenses left on his schedule — Atlanta, Oakland, Kansas City and Denver.

SAM HENDRICKS

Terrell Owens. So far he has 40 catches for 500+ yards and 6 TDs. About 120 FP’s in a PPR league. Not quite the TO numbers we have come to expect. But he had 3 games without T. Romo (four if you discount the Week 11 early return from injury for Tony). The Boys play 3 at home and two away to finish but face tough run defenses that may actually play into TO’s hand and get him the ball more. Look for him to finish the season with 1000 yards and 10 TDs. And it all starts Thanksgiving day versus Seattle.

Hendricks is the author of Fantasy Football Guidebook and the recently released Fantasy Football Almanac 2008 which are both available at his website, www.ffguidebook.com, at all major bookstores, and at www.amazon.com. He is an 18-year fantasy football veteran who regularly participates in the World Championship of Fantasy Football (WCOFF) and will participate this year in the inaugural season of the Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC).

LOUIS TRANQUILLI

He's been a terrible bust, he was injured but for the most part has been invisible until his 70 yard TD catch Monday night vs. the Packers. Drew Brees is on a roll, the Saints love to toss the rock and coming up in weeks 14-16 he gets Atlanta, Chicago and a Detroit team that will be making history for losing. Colston should be in fantasy lineups.

JEFFREY KAMYS

Larry Johnson looks in line to have a very good final 5-6 weeks of the season. With KC running that spread offense, the running lanes for Johnson have gotten bigger, further with Thigpen playing well at QB, Johnson is going to have plenty of scoring chances.

ANDY RICHARDSON

To some extent I want to answer, what you see is what you get. If players haven't done it by now, they're not going to. There is no player like Fred Taylor or Clinton Portis some years back who will just turn it on and carry teams to titles. But I guess I'm somewhat interested in Larry Johnson, who's healthy and fresh (a lengthy suspension will do that) and playing in a good offense (right now) with some good matchups left on the schedule. He might be surprisingly good the rest of the way. I also like two key Colts: Joseph Addai and Reggie Wayne.
