Ones and twos come together in week 16

Posted Dec. 18 at 01:35 PM

It's a strange rack of games this week -- odd matchups created by the chance of the schedule makers.

As luck would have it, the two AFC teams with the best record (Pittsburgh and Tennessee) are playing against each other, and so are the top two on the NFC side -- Giants and Saints.

But that's just the start.

The two top rushers are both in the same game. Adrian Peterson and Michael Turner.

The two defenses that have allowed the fewest points are both in the same game. Pittsburgh and Tennessee.

The two defenses that have allowed the most passing yards are both in the same game. Jets and Seahawks.

And the two defenses that have allowed the most touchdown passes are both in the same game. Arizona and New England.

Should make for an odd week.
