Our annual TD-only league, featuring 12 Fantasy Index SuperFanatic subscribers, came to its conclusion last week... well, sort of.
Each year the season runs from week 1 through week 16, with every team playing every other team each week. No playoffs, normally; just win-loss record at the end of the season. This year, however, two owners tied: Jonathan Norman and Geoff Maleman, both of whom finished at 105-66-5.
With no arrangement in place for handling a tie, co-Champions were declared -- but Norman and Maleman would have nothing of the sort. They opted instead for a steel-cage death match, which was ultimately ruled out in favor of a week 17 playoff, with one team getting all the glory.
