Around the NFL
I'm not sure exactly what the Bucs are thinking with Kellen Winslow.
They gave him a huge contract extension on Monday that includes $20.1 million in guaranteed money. The overall value of the six-year extension is $36.1 to $42.1 million, according to an article by Anwar Richardson of The Tampa Tribune.
That's an awful lot of money to invest in a guy who's had a lot of problems with his knee (dating back to his infamous motorcycle accident). And Winslow at times was a big pain in the rear for coaches and management in Cleveland.
