Factoid
Is there an opponent capable of slowing down Tom Brady and the Patriots? How about, believe it or not, this week's: the winless Miami Dolphins?
Brady has played some of the worst games of his career against the Dolphins, particularly in games played in Miami. The Dolphins hung a shocking 21-0 shutout loss on the Patriots last December, just the second time the team has been shut out in Brady's career. His numbers against the Dolphins -- completion percentage, yards, TDs versus interceptions -- are all far worse than his career numbers overall. (New England is also just 7-5 in those games.) Not that anyone will bench Brady or his top targets this week, but at least consider the possibility that if Brady turns in a clunker this season, it could come here.
Brady's game-by-game numbers versus the Dolphins, and his average games in his career and against Miami, are presented below.
