Fantasy News
Yesterday I posted the final strength of schedule numbers for rushing for the 2008 season. Below are the similar numbers for passing.
Easiest schedules first. Teams are ordered by fantasy points, using the scoring system of 6 points for touchdown passes and 1 point for every 10 passing yards.
As you can see in the chart below, the Bills, Rams, 49ers, Dolphins, Bucs and Raiders benefitted last year from playing the easiest schedules against the pass (remarkable, therefore, that four of those teams put up some of the worst passing numbers in the league). The Browns, Bengals, Jaguars, Ravens and Texans, meanwhile, played the hardest schedules for passing (even more impressive, in other words, that Houston managed to average 280 passing yards per game last year).
