I’m doing a radio show on Thursday afternoon with the ESPN affliate in Toledo – “1460 The Ticket”
I’m not sure exactly what they have in mind, but it should be fun. I’ll start at 4:30 pm Eastern time. Frequency is 1470-AM or 106.5-FM.
I’ll be working with Norm Warner on “The Front Row” show.
Those out-of-area can access the show at www.1470theticket.com. I’m not sure if there’s going to be any call-in stuff available or not.

Ian, you'd better not sound like Gilbert Gottfried...

I'm not as bad as Gilbert Gottfried, but I do not have that golden voice that you want for radio or TV. What can I say? I'm a professional nerd. When I karaoke, I duck the songs that require range/power/skill -- I'll go with "Heart of Gold" or "Ramblin' Man" instead. If you're looking for voice quality, you might want to just stick with the written product.

I live in Toledo and have listened to "The Front Row" occasionally. Norm does a good job and he's fairly knowledgeable for a local sports host. It should be a good show. It was weird for me the first time I heard Bill Simmons on the radio after reading his work for a long time. Hopefully your voice isn't as dainty as his.
