We've made it into the 7th round of the Fantasy Football Indepth experts draft, which is probably about average for these things after four days. Since I work online most of the day, I'm baffled these drafts don't move along more quickly, but I guess some people can't access drafts from their other jobs or whatever. I guess there's no great rush to finish.
Anyway, after posting yesterday's update about how there were some good runners left midway through the fourth round, a bunch of them went in the next few picks. After I took Anthony Gonzalez, I watched Ryan Grant, Derrick Ward, Joseph Addai, and Knowshon Moreno go off the board in quick succession. Ray Rice was still there for me with my fifth pick, and we've ranked him higher in this format than all but one of those other guys, but I'll readily admit there's some risk involved. With him as my No. 2, I'll definitely be looking at a few running back fliers in the rounds to come.
When I used my last pick on Coles, the other player I considered there was Torry Holt. I'd been hoping he'd make it back to me, but in fact he was just selected.
