STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE: First Half vs. Second Half
A mixture of the two charts shown above, showing which teams schedules project to swing the most. St. Louis and Washington project to take the biggest shift towards being more difficult. Each plays a top-10 (easiest) schedule during the first half, but then has a bottom-10 schedule in its final eight games. San Francisco, Arizona, Cleveland and Cincinnati are the opposite. All of those teams rank outside the top 20 in difficulty in the first half (they have hard schedules), then play top-10 schedules in their final eight games (easy schedules).

On this chart, there are two numbers that follow each team name. Those show Strength of Schedule ranks for the first and second halves of the season. For the Rams, for example, they rank 5th (easiest) during games 1-8, and they tie for 23rd (easiest) in the second half of the season.
