Fantasy News
Our annual TD-only league -- that's a league where scoring plays are all that matter -- kicks off its season today, with an extended-format draft. Twelve Fantasy Index subscribers, selected from over 300 entries in a random drawing, get to match wits in a league all season long, to see who knows the most about scoring.
The drafted teams will compete all season long in a league we've set up on MyFantasyLeague.com. You can follow along with the draft at this link. With any luck, participants will weigh in every so often after their picks: why they picked this player, why they didn't pick this one, etc.
We'll also post regular updates of the draft, along with critique when anyone dares to stray too far from our rankings.
The extended-format draft is on a 6-hour draft timer, so it could take up to two weeks to complete. (Given that the season starts in just 17 days -- Gahh! -- ideally it won't take much longer than that.)
