LenDale White a first-round pick? That's just one of the many differences between a TD-only league draft and one that includes yardage, receptions, and other performance-related elements.
Fantasy Index's 6th annual TD-only league featuring 12 lucky readers kicked off its draft yesterday, and considering we're halfway through the third round after less than a day of picks, something else can be said: reader participants are a lot more timely making their selections than fantasy experts are.
Players with the same name were an early glitch, as the wrong Adrian Peterson was drafted using the pre-draft feature. Possible errors down the road include the two Steve Smiths and then a new one this year: two Zach Millers, with the Jaguars adding a rookie tight end by that name.
The entire draft can be seen at this link; picks made thus far are presented below. Best pick thus far? I like Frank Gore at 3.02; I also like Matt Forte way down at 1.10. Worst picks? I think a couple of quarterbacks have gone a little bit earlier than I'd have expected; TD passes are 4 points in this league. Then again, the ones taken are a clear level above the rest of the options at their position.
