Around the NFL
The Wednesday injury has been released.
Biggest name that I see on there is Anquan Boldin. Because of a hamstring injury, he didn't practice Wednesday. It's early, but he's taking a step towards possibly not playing against the 49ers.
Biggest name I don't see is Adam Vinatieri. The Colts kept Shane Andrus on their roster, so I had concerns that maybe Andrus would fill in for the first game. But Vinatieri isn't listed, so he supposedly practiced fully. He should be fine. Two other banged up kickers (Shayne Graham, Jason Hanson) also appear to be on course to play.
Tampa Bay's Antonio Bryant (knee) practiced fully. He should be fine.
Maurice Jones-Drew (bruised shin) also practiced without any problems. He's good to go.
Those who love to joke around about the multiple Adrian Petersons and Steve Smiths in the league will want to know that tight end Zach Miller did not practice. Looks like he'll sit out. And that's rookie tight end Zach Miller of the Jaguars.

what do you think the chances that pierre thomas and knowshon moreno play and in what capacity are you hearing they will be used?

Also, if moreno wont play would buckhalter or hillis be worth a start?

What is the latest on Reggie Bush?

It's the kind of thing that changes from day to day, but Thomas didn't practice at all, according to the report, while Bush isn't mentioned -- so he practiced in full. So there's no reason not to start Bush, and (as of right now) no reason to count on Thomas playing. In the case of Moreno, there's absolutely no way to know how much he'll play, so I think it's risky to start him. If he's actually ruled out, Buckhalter (who is expected to start) might be worth a play. With Hillis, you're just hoping the ball ends up inside the 5 and he gets the carries. Kind of a risky play.

Thomas practiced some on Thursday. If it's all uncertain if he's going to play or not when your lineup decisions roll around, I'd avoid Bell.
