Factoid
Both Steve Smith and Calvin Johnson caught only 3 of the 13 passes thrown their way on Sunday. Smith opened his game with an 8-yard reception on the first play, but he finished with only 3 catches for 21 yards as Jake Delhomme turned the ball over five times.
Johnson at least was able to turn one of his catches into a 64-yard near-touchdown. He finished with 90 yards on his 3 receptions.

I think it's possible, but I don't think it will happen. I don't know if he's a good fit for them. They're passing game is built around running the ball, then throwing deep passes (a lot of them off play action). Carolina usually is among the lowest in terms of passes to tight ends and running backs. But Garcia is West Coast system with a limited arm. He's at his best dinking and dunking his way down the field. Doesn't look like a good fit.
