ASK THE EXPERTS appears weekly with answers to a new question being posted Thursday morning. How the guest experts responded when we asked them:

Which player would you be looking to "sell high" after week 1?

COLIN DARLINGTON

Mike Bell in New Orleans. He only played due to the Pierre Thomas injury and now he is a top free agent pick up this for Week 2. I would try and trade him ASAP and get as much value as possible. Once Pierre Thomas is 100% healthy, I don't see Bell having much fantasy value the rest of the 2009 season.

BOB HECK

We'll go with Julius Jones. The Seahawk RB totaled a stout 136-yard game last week to open the season but it's fool's gold in our eyes. Last season, Jones also had a couple of strong games to start the season with 141 yards in week 2 against the 49ers and 144 against these same Rams in week 3, however he was a complete bust after that failing to total 50 yards in nine games, not including the two games he missed. The Seahawks should be a better team this season but these high-end days will not be the norm.

PRETZEL MAY

Thomas Jones is someone I am looking to sell high. Putting up 107 yards and 2 touchdowns is going to put him on a lot of peoples radar. if you actually watched the game however you would see that Leon Washington is a huge part of this offense and got just 1 less touch then Jones. Take away a 39 yard run and a 38 yard run in garbage time and Jones went just 18 carries for 30 yards and TD. For most people 1.67 yards per carry is not going to cut it for their fantasy team, especially when they are splitting carries. Once Shonn Greene is healthy and in the mix look for the production to drop off drastically. Thomas Jones' value is not going to get any higher and I would look to move him if you have the chance to someone looking for running back because he is sure to be over valued.

JEFFREY KAMYS

If you can do it, I would get rid of Greg Olsen, it's pretty clear that the Bears under Cutler will throw the ball downfield more, it just seems to be in Cutler's blood to air it out. Olsen's stats one would assume would grow under Cutler, but could stay the same or drop a bit as Cutler likes to go downfield more.

DAVID DOREY

I’d try to sell off Tim Hightower who has a freakish 12 catches for 121 yards against the 49ers but he only had 15 yards on eight runs for a 1.8 YPC. He’s just not a starting running back in the NFL. Beanie Wells rushed for 29 yards on seven carries and clearly looked better than Hightower – no shock there. In a league rewarding reception points, now is the time to sell Hightower.

MIKE NAZAREK

I'd sell Saints WR Devery Henderson high and hard. He's a one-trick pony, whom only produces 2-3 times every season.

SCOTT ENDSLEY

Mike Bell. Not sure he'll see this kind of playing time all season and not sure any New Orleans RB will have this kind of day again even if he did.

Endsley is co-owner and a senior fantasy football consultant for FantasyDraftEdge.com offering customizable fantasy football cheat sheets and professional VIP advice all season long. For more info, go to www.fantasydraftedge.com.

SCOTT PIANOWSKI

I'd look to sell Jeremy Shockey's two-touchdown game immediately. We're talking about someone who's never played a 16-game season in his career, and 2009 looks like the year of the fantasy tight end -- there's production to be had in so many places. For all of the sunshine thrown on Shockey's raw ability, he has a mere 29 TDs in 96 pro games.

Scott Pianowski has been playing fantasy football for 15 years and writing about it for 12. He joined Yahoo! Sports in 2008 and has been blogging 24/7 on RotoArcade.com ever since.

SAM HENDRICKS

There is one easy answer: Brandon Stokley, Denver WR for starters, since his TD and 87 yards receiving were on a fluke, tipped, end of game single pass. But I would also go with Fred Jackson, RB BUF and his 57 yards rushing, 5 for 83 yards receiving and TD. Marshawn Lynch is back in week 4 and should regain the starting role. This will leave Fred in more of a fill-in role although his catches will be valuable in PPR leagues. Overall, sell him now while you can.

Sam Hendricks is the author of Fantasy Football Guidebook, Fantasy Football Tips and Fantasy Football Almanac 2009, all available at his website, www.ffguidebook.com, at all major bookstores, and at www.amazon.com. He is a 19-year fantasy football veteran who regularly participates in the World Championship of Fantasy Football (WCOFF), National Fantasy Football Championship (NFFC) and finished 7th overall in the 2008 Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC).

CORY BONINI

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Justin Gage burst onto the 2009 scene with seven receptions for 78 yards and one touchdown against the vaunted Pittsburgh Steelers defense in the season opener. He's healthy, and Nate Washington (hamstring) remains less than 100 percent. To the contrary, reasons to dump Gage: Tight end Bo Scaife and rookie wideout Kenny Britt are both expected to be heavily involved in the offense. Furthermore, the offense runs through the ground game. See if you can find an owner to bite on this sell-high candidate since he is likely to be very erratic all year.

ANDY RICHARDSON

If I could get anything of value for Tim Hightower I would do it in a heartbeat. There is no way he will keep Beanie Wells out of the lineup for long. It's almost like Wells was drafted four rounds earlier! He's just a much better running back, and he'll get most of the carries here before much longer.

Richardson has been a columnist and contributor to the Fantasy Football Index magazine and web site for the past eight years. His responsibilities include team defense and IDP projections, as well as various site features. He has run the magazine's annual draft and auction leagues since their inception. What are your opinions on Brayon Edwards in the keeper system. Will Fred Jackson be a Bill next year? Ed Zeman

Jackson signed a 4-year contract in May, so he'll be a Bill next year. Edwards is a guy I'd buy low, but it would have to be pretty low.

To start this week for WR: Nate Burleson against SF, who in week 1 against STL did a great job for me, or Santana Moss who just happens to play STL in Week 2 but did not produce last week?
