Cardiac Caldwell strikes again

Posted Oct. 11 at 03:28 PM

In the first five weeks of the season, there have been six come-from-behind touchdowns scored in the last minute.

Andre Caldwell of the Bengals has done it twice. The rest of the league combined has done it only four times.

None of these players, oddly, is a big-time star like Adrian Peterson, Randy Moss or Larry Fitzgerald. Only one -- Ben Watson -- is a regular starter, and he shares time with Chris Baker.

Players with come-from-behind touchdowns in the last minute

Ben Watson (week 1, New England 25-24 over Buffalo)

Darren Sproles (week 1, San Diego 24-20 over Oakland)

Brandon Stokley (week 1, Denver 12-7 over Cincinnati)

Greg Lewis (week 3, Minnesota 27-24 over San Francisco)

Andre Caldwell (week 3, Cincinnati 23-20 over Pittsburgh)

Andre Caldwell (week 5, Cincinnati 17-14 over Baltimore)
