Saints have easiest remaining schedule

Posted Nov. 02 at 01:29 PM

Not only have the Saints managed to start the season 7-0, they also have the easiest remaining schedule in the league – at least on paper. According to team’s current win-loss records, New Orleans’ remaining nine games are against teams that are a combined 23-41. (A pair of games against 0-7 Tampa Bay makes up the brunt of the weakness on their schedule).

The Giants, Eagles, Patriots and Cowboys, meanwhile, look like the playoff contenders who could be most affected by difficult remaining schedules.

STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE – REMAINING
Remaining strength-of-schedule for each team, based on team’s current win-loss records. New Orleans, Arizona and San Francisco project to play the easiest schedules from this point going forward (weeks 9-17). Washington, Carolina and the New York Giants project to play the hardest schedules.
