49ers will play easiest remaining schedule

Posted Nov. 30 at 12:42 PM

Below is a glance at the strength of schedule numbers. Based on team’s current win-loss records, the 49ers, Saints, Steelers and Ravens project to play the easiest schedules the rest of the way. Among playoff contenders, the Cowboys, Giants and Eagles project to play the hardest schedules – they could beat up on each other in the NFC East.

If you instead look at what’s happened so far, the Vikings, Cowboys and Packers stand out as teams that have benefited the most from playing easy schedules. The Ravens, Titans, Broncos and Texans have played the hardest schedules.

The complete numbers …

if you're in a league with games in Week 17 you're well-advised to change leagues. although I'd prefer to play in a league that was head-to-head in the regular season with playoff teams competing in a rotisserie format, which could include Week 17.
