Slaton done for season

The Houston Texans will place Steve Slaton on injured reserve with a neck injury, according to a report on the team's website. HoustonTexans.com picked it up from ESPN's NFL reporter Adam Schefter.

That will leave the Texans with a tandem of Chris Brown and Ryan Moats the rest of the way; Arian Foster could also be a factor.
