Seahawks: they were bad

Posted Jan. 04 at 02:27 AM

Poking around the numbers, I notice that the Seahawks didn't only finish with a 5-11 record, it was an unusually soft 5-11. They got slapped around in a lot of their games (though they played hard throughout yesterday's 17-13 loss to Tennessee).

Seattle lost 9 games by over 10 points.

When Detroit went 0-16 last year, it lost only 8 games by over 10 points.

With its competitive loss yesterday, Seattle fell short of the 1976 Buccaneers, who went 0-14. That team lost 10 games by over 10 points.
