Factoid
Kurt Warner did it again on Sunday. Against Green Bay, he finished with more touchdown passes than incompletions, completing 29 of 33 passes, with 5 TDs.
But that wasn’t a one-game deal with Warner. He’s been a great playoff quarterback all along. He’s 9-3 as a starter in the playoffs, and two of the losses were in Super Bowl games where he passed for over 300 yards (against New England and Pittsburgh).
Below, see the numbers showing how Warner stacks up as a postseason quarterback against other current starting quarterbacks who’ve started at least 10 playoff games. As a playoff quarterback, Warner (at least to this point) grades out a lot better than Peyton Manning.
