I expect the Jets will come up short on Sunday. I think they just don’t quite have enough to hang with the Colts.
But you have to give props to that defense. It’s allowed only 8 TD passes all year, the 2nd-fewest ever in a 16-game season. And it hasn’t allowed many other points either.
Below is the chart showing all defenses (ever) that have allowed under 20 TDs in a 16-game season. Note that this is strictly defenses (touchdown totals don’t include scores on interception and kick returns). The Jets now join this group.
