Big year for quarterbacks

Posted Feb. 23 at 08:57 AM

Last year was a big season for quarterbacks. Lots of quarterbacks having very good seasons.

In the decade only 17 quarterbacks started at least 10 games and averaged over 280 passing yards per game. Five of those occurred last year. So only 12 times in 2000-2008, but almost half as many in last season alone.
