Andre Johnson leads in yards per game

Posted Mar. 21 at 08:53 AM

For your viewing pleasure. Below are the top yardage gainers among wide receivers over the last three years.

Andre Johnson is the top guy, averaging 97 yards per game. Michael Clayton of the Bucs comes in last (at least among guys who started over half the time. He’s down at 28 yards per game.

This chart contains some opinion. If, for example, a star receiver like Andre Johnson wasn’t on the field for the first play of the game – if, for example, they opened in an unusual set or he was late to a team meeting or something (but still played his usual role) – we would still credit him as being a starter in that game.
