Factoid
Just a wild hunch, but Brandon Marshall should provide a pretty good upgrade to Miami's receiving corps this season. Marshall has put up numbers comparable to or better than the Dolphins' top two wideouts combined in each of his three seasons as a starter.
The reception and TD numbers from the last three years, for Marshall and Miami's leading two wideouts in those seasons, are presented below.
Year Rec TDs
2009 126 5 (Top 2 Dolphins WRs)
2009 101 10 (Marshall)
2008 111 4 (Top 2 Dolphins WRs)
2008 104 6 (Marshall)
2007 84 4 (Top 2 Dolphins WRs)
2007 102 7 (Marshall)
