Factoid
Dynasty owners may be considering some of the college quarterbacks taken in the mid- to later rounds of last weekend's NFL draft. John Skelton, Tony Pike, and Dan LeFevour were some of the "name" college passers taken from the fourth round on.
If the past decade is any indication, though, none of those guys will amount to anything beyond journeyman backup and occasional starter in the NFL. Since Tom Brady was selected in the 6th round back in 2000 and went on to become a future Hall of Famer, it's been a long dry spell for quarterbacks selected outside the third round.
Here are the 69 quarterbacks selected from the fourth round on in 2001 through 2009. The most successful ones to this point are in bold. It may be too early to write off some of last year's picks, but then again it might not. When fourth-rounder David Garrard is the biggest name among those quarterbacks, you know that the future prospects are dim for Skelton, Pike and Co.

Shocking that Kyle Orton is not in bold, but A.J. Feeley and Seneca Wallace are. Maybe Andy is a Raiders fan who hates the Broncos.

Orton of course should have been. It's fixed now. Sorry. I actually don't like the Broncos very much, but that wasn't a factor.
