Raiders loaded with first-round quarterbacks

Posted Apr. 25 at 03:38 AM

The Raiders picked up Jason Campbell at a fire-sale price on Saturday. They gave up just a fourth-round pick in the 2012 draft.

I like that trade for Oakland. They have some decent players, and we all saw last year how quickly a team can improve from awful to respectable with competent quarterback play (that offense really picked up when Bruce Gradkowski came in for them). I don't think Campbell is anything great, but in a weak division, he could help lift that team to .500.

But on to the factoid. Now that the Raiders have Campbell, I think they might be the first team ever with four first-round quarterbacks on their roster. (At least for now).

JaMarcus Russell

Kyle Boller (selected by Baltimore)

J.P. Losman (selected by Buffalo)

Jason Campbell (selected by Washington)
