Andre Johnson looking for new deal

Posted Jul. 17 at 03:27 PM

Andre Johnson would like to get a raise, and It looks like a good time to revisit the contract of the receiver taken with the pick after Charles Rogers in 2003. Johnson has established himself as one of the game’s elite receivers – maybe the No. 1 guy overall – and he wants to strike now before he gets hurt or passed by too many other guys in the league pecking order.

By our count, Johnson in the last two years has piled up more yards than every receiver ever except for a couple of legends – Jerry Rice and Marvin Harrison.

Pay the man.
