Fantasy News
Like attending NFL games in person but hate missing out on key fantasy updates? The NFL understands your concerns.
Beginning this season, the NFL Network's Red Zone Channel will be shown live at NFL stadiums each Sunday, according to this story at NFL.com. Now your last excuse for not going to a game on Sunday -- aside from the ridiculous expense, the frustrating parking hassles, and not seeing what's going on half as well as from your living room -- has gone away.
It will be interesting to see exactly how this works. When I'm at the Jets game, will the public address system be interrupted to tell me about David Garrard scoring a 5-yard touchdown in a game against Houston? Perhaps it will only happen at designated times during games -- commercial breaks, as a for instance.
Regardless, depending on how it's implemented, it seems like a boon to fantasy owners.

You left out the part about missing all the action while transiting to and from bathrooms and beer vendors. I literally missed every single New England touchdown in Week 1 of 2007 (the Spygate game). My favorite bathroom game ever was San Diego at Washington. Week 12, 2005. The game sucked. It appeared to be entirely played between the 40 yard lines. No action. Tomlinson ties the game in the waning minutes with a run that I missed while in the john. So it goes to overtime. I head to the bathroom before the kickoff where I am faced with the most forlorn, depressed looking, fatalistic fans I've ever seen. I decide to pump the Washington fans up and start yelling at them that they need to be positive and to come out with a lot of energy and let the Chargers know that D.C. fans don't quit (I root for another team, so whatever). Anyway, I get everyone riled up and cheering and just as the hooting and hollering reaches a crescendo I hear over the bathroom speaker "TOMLINSON AT THE 30, THE 20, 15, 5 TOUCHDOWN!!!!!! CHARGERS WIN, CHARGERS WIN!!!!" I slipped out. Quickly. I also missed a Deion Sanders interception TD against Washington when he played for the Ravens (2004?). I think that was a game winner.

Different sport, but a friend of my Dad's was at Game 6 of the 1975 Red Sox-Reds World Series. He went to the bathroom after the top of the 12th, and thus missed seeing one of the most dramatic home runs in baseball history.
