Fantasy Index Scheduletron -- strength-of-schedule analysis
Earlier today, I posted Strength of Schedule figures that were created from our stat projections. They showed which defenses project to play the easiest (and hardest) schedules versus the run and pass.
Not sure how useful that data is, but a reader asked for it.
Below is the offensive counterpart. We’ve got points-per-game estimates for each defense. Based on that figures, the four offenses in the NFC West (San Francisco, Seattle, Arizona and St. Louis) project to play the easiest schedules this year.
The hardest projected schedules (again, just for offenses) belong to the Patriots, Dolphins, Bengals and Bills. Three of those teams have to play the Jets twice (and in the AFC East, the Patriots and Dolphins aren’t bad either). The Bengals face double games against Baltimore and Pittsburgh.
