Bills still holding onto Lynch

Posted Jun. 13 at 04:32 AM

Terrell Owens, Brian Westbrook and Laveranues Coles are still looking for work, but Marshawn Lynch is the biggest puzzle piece still out there. He'll land on a new team before opening day, and he could make an impact.

The Seahawks, surely, would like to have him. They've released LenDale White. All that they really have at running back is Justin Forsett. They're expected to release Julius Jones, and Leon Washington is trying to come back from a broken leg.

Columnist Bob DiCesare of the The Buffalo News says in his column today that Lynch needs to help facilitate a trade by showing up to the team's workouts.

Buffalo has C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson to hold down the running back position. It has no interest in bringing back Lynch. But it would like to get a second- or third-round pick in exchange for him. And that will become more likely if Lynch shows up and starts working.
