Factoid
Wes Welker is coming back (trying to come back) from serious surgeries to his groin and shoulder, but he’s still a guy who could merit a gamble pick in the middle rounds of a draft – particularly in a PPR format. He catches an awful lot of passes, and he’s healthy enough that he particapted in the team’s most recent workouts, even running some routes.
Below see the list of all wide receivers who’ve caught at least 280 passes in three consecutive seasons in the last 25 years. There’s Welker, up at No. 2 behind Marvin Harrison.
Five of the 40 receivers on this list, by the way, are guys who just completed the third year of their run last year. They’re all in bold.
