Factoid
The Ravens have signed Marc Bulger to serve as a backup behind Joe Flacco. In my opinion, that makes Bulger as nominally interesting fantasy option. If Flacco were to get hurt, Bulger could/should be an above-average fantasy quarterback. (On the downside, Flacco is about as likely to start all 16 games as any other quarterback).
At the same time, however, I will point out that Bulger over the last three years has won only 5 of the 36 games he’s started. That’s remarkably bad. That’s a winning percentage that’s less than half of what JaMarcus Russell managed with the Raiders.
Not that it’s all Bulger’s fault, of course. He didn’t have much around him. But 5-31 in three years may be the worst win-loss record we see in a long, long time.
