Everyone loves mock drafts, right? Well, here's your chance to take part in a mock draft with me, this week.
It's simple: We've got an account set up at www.mockdraftcentral.com. I've scheduled a draft for 12 noon Eastern on Wednesday, just two days from now. The first 11 people who see this and email me are in.
EDIT: Draft is full. Thanks to those who got in, sorry to those who were too late. I'll recap the draft right here at the end of the week.
That's all there is to it. We'll go 14 rounds, drafting a starting lineup of 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 PK, 1 Team D, and 5 bench spots. We'll use 4-point TD passes, 6 points for all other touchdowns, 1 point for every 10 rushing or receiving yards and every 25 passing yards, and 1 point for all receptions, so PPR scoring.
Draft should take about an hour, and afterward I'll recap it here on the website. Seriously, are there many better ways to spend a lunch break? (Or morning coffee time, or....)

In my opinion, posting this so early in the morning gave East Coast people a huge advantage over West Coast people.

Just to be sure, does "all other touchdowns" include punt/kick return scores for an individual? I got seriously hosed in a matchup last year when I had Eddie Royal racking up points for my opponent's Denver D instead.

David - You're right, sorry about that. Although the 12th spot didn't get claimed until 1 p.m. Eastern. Assuming this one goes well, I'll do another one in a couple of weeks, and I'll post the invite on the site a little later in the day.

Matthew, yes. Again though, this is ONLY a mock draft -- we will not be playing out the actual league.

I am a computer dunce. I registered. Or thought I did. Got an email saying not everyone registered. I checked and my name wasn't on the list. I played around and got my name on the list. I was there 20 minutes before the draft, and nothing happened. I am very sorry and very embarrassed. I hope my absence didn't screw up the draft.
