Which player who changed teams this offseason will suffer most from a new address?
JEFFREY KAMYS
It just doesn't seem likely that Anquan Boldin will be able to post the types of numbers that he has put up in his prior days in Arizona. While Boldin is now playing on a potential Super Bowl team, his numbers will suffer in the Ravens much more balanced offensive attack that will feature the run game.

SCOTT PIANOWSKI
Santonio Holmes on the Jets is a curious fit - we're talking about a team that's dominated by a hard-hitting defense and conservative offense, and even when New York wants to throw it, Holmes has to compete with Braylon Edwards, Jerricho Cotchery and Dustin Keller for targets. The added month on the sidelines for the suspended Holmes isn't going to help the cause any, and Mark Sanchez still has to be managed as he enters his second year. I don't believe in dead roster spots, so it's very doubtful I'll be drafting Holmes this August.
Pianowski has been playing fantasy football for 15 years and writing about it for 12. He joined Yahoo! Sports in 2008 and has been blogging 24/7 on RotoArcade.com ever since.
DAVID DOREY
The move of LaDainian Tomlinson to the Jets will no doubt encourage many fantasy owners to reach for him too early in drafts thinking of his tremendous career and not his stumbling conclusion. The Jets have a great offensive line and Tomlinson will play a role but he’s already showing the effects of too much wear on the tread with a sub-4.0 rushing average the last two years. Shonn Greene is the future in New York and Tomlinson is only a support player.

Thomas Jones’ numbers are about to take a big hit as he moves from New York to Kansas City. He rushed for over 1,400 yards last year and was a top-10 fantasy back. But we don’t see him even cracking the top-40 in 2010. For starters, Jones isn’t the starter. Jamaal Charles was absolutely electric down the stretch last year. At this point in their careers, he’s much more talented than Jones. We see the 10-year veteran receiving 8-10 carries per game. And he won’t be as productive with those carries as he was with the Jets. In the Big Apple, T.J. was running behind one of the most dominant run-blocking offensive lines in the game. It’ll be a different story in Kansas City. His plodding style won’t play well there. And that’ll just lead to even fewer carries for the 31-year-old.

I think that there will be plenty who’ll decline significantly. Thomas Jones, LaDainian Tomlinson, Torry Holt. All of those guys were starters last year; now they’ll be just backups. I think it’s possible that those players combined will start about five games. I’m not sure that Holt will even make the team in New England. Jones ran for 1,402 yards and 14 TDs last year, so I suppose his numbers will fall the most.

Going from the run-friendly New York Jets to ... well, Kansas City, Thomas Jones will regret his offseason move. Jones will probably post the majority carries and see goal line work, but how strongly can you count on the latter production week to week with this team? With that O-line, it's hard to say he'll offer much else in his age-32 campaign. Oh, and KC still has the explosive Jamaal Charles, whom Charlie Weis won't ignore. Rank Jones as a low-end No. 3 back, at best, in standard scoring.

Without question Thomas Jones. Jones went from being the #1 rusher on the #1 rushing attack in the league last year to being the #2/goal line guy in Kansas City. That is a 50 yards per game drop between the teams and he isn't even going to start in his new home.

Thomas Jones - Jones' move to KC wasn't exactly his fault; the Jets decided a declining LT was a better choice. Jones will likely be behind Jamaal Charles on the depth chart and at best split carries with him. Jones was also the beneficiary of running behind one of the best offensive lines in New York, a luxury the soon to be 32-year-old won't have in KC. Plug in the pass-happy offensive scheme that Charlie Weis will utilize and I don't see Jones accumulating even half the fantasy points he did last season.

SAM HENDRICKS
In a standard PPR league in 2009 Thomas Jones finished 10th in RBs through week 16. Then he went to KC. Enough said. You want more. He turns 32 in August. He will be in a RBBC with Jamaal Charles and more of a tough, goal line vulture at that. I had him on tons of teams last year and he looked worn out the last three games of the season and in three playoff games. He averaged 4.7 yards per carry the first half of the season, 3.6 the second half. Don’t get me wrong he will be a sleeper if his ADP holds up (113th or 10.05), but do not expect 2009 type numbers.

SCOTT SACHS
With his meteoric flameout in Cleveland behind him, Brady Quinn's career was supposed to rise like the legendary Phoenix from the ashes with a new start and a new team on the rise in the Broncos. However, any euphoria Quinn experienced during his short-lived honeymoon in Denver got Gator-chopped by the NFL's new jersey sales leader, Tim Tebow. With Orton anointed the starter, plus Timmy Terrific on board, it's hard to see "Bronco Brady" doing more than holding the clipboard and running the scout team this year. It bears mentioning that the Browns have been blamed for underplaying the much-hyped Quinn, but hey, it was mostly Quinn's own fault for holding out when he was initially drafted as a first-rounder. By sitting on his keester, BQ allowed Phil Savage's previous draftee [from the Ravens], Derek Anderson, to get the reps in camp, then the eventual starting nod when Charlie Frye fizzled.

LOUIS TRANQUILLI
I'm still trying to figure out just what the NY Jets brass was thinking bring LT2 into NY, and why do the Jets seem to be the resting spot for past their glory players? NY has a potential stud RB in front of LT2, a weaker offensive line with the release of Alan Faneca and a marginal starting QB that can relieve none of the pressure Philip Rivers could for LaDainian. I haven't even got to the fact the Jets play in a division with two very solid defensive teams in Miami and New England, and the schedule includes the NFC East in 2010. I'll look forward to hearing someone else shout out "LaDainian Tomlinson" in 2010..

BURTON MEAHL
My initial response would have been LaDainian Tomlinson. The Jets have Shonn Greene set up as the starter. However, it will likely be a 2-headed attack. One week, LT may have a great week. Another week, Greene will be the man. My actual answer addresses a specific situation. Washington's running back situation is not one that a running back would want to be associated with, in my opinion. Many of us have a history in Mike Shanahan systems with running backs - bad history. I remember drafting Denver running backs during the Shanahan Era and having nothing but headaches after Terrell Davis left. Washington has Larry Johnson, Clinton Portis, and Willie Parker. These are three names that we have become used to seeing drafted within the first two rounds of every fantasy draft. Injuries have played a part in the recent decline in value of Portis and Parker. That may be one of the big reasons for the stashing of big names at the position. One back will carry the entire load one week. The next week someone else will. The week after that, it will be a complete split. Nothing good will come of this for fantasy owners or the running back who wants to be featured. It would have been better for Larry Johnson to land with a club that did not already have a clear-cut No. 1 running back and did not have other big names coming in wrestling for time in the backfield.

MIKE NAZAREK
I believe RB LaDainian Tomlinson is basically done as a productive back in the NFL. Yes, he may catch 30 or so passes for the Jets and score a few times, but I just don't think his career will be anywhere revitalized by moving to New York.

RICK HAWES
Anytime a player changes uniforms there are question marks, and new Washington quarterback Donovan McNabb isn’t exactly landing in a better situation. Yes, Washington has arguably upgraded the O-line in the nation's capital, but McNabb has a trio of aging running backs to support the ground attack and a lesser quality of skill players in the passing game. Also, he tends to miss a couple of games each year and Washington has the ninth toughest schedule (on paper) this season. In 12-team mocks, McNabb is being selected as a borderline starter, but I see his value heading south.

ANDY RICHARDSON
No shortage of candidates, but I'll nominate Santonio Holmes. Never mind that he'll be sidelined the first four games of the season. And go to a run-first offense. And have to compete with two other capable wideouts, a good young tight end, and the team's running backs for catches. And play for a team with an even stingier defense than Pittsburgh's, which will tend to minimize any shootout potential. Actually, no, consider all that stuff, and it's ample reason to want no part of Holmes this season.
Richardson has been a columnist and contributor to the Fantasy Football Index magazine and web site for the past nine years. His responsibilities include team defense and IDP projections and various site features, and he has run the magazine's annual draft and auction leagues since their inception.
