Around the NFL
The Cowboys want last year's kickoff specialist David Buehler to win their place kicking job. It's early, and there have been some hiccups, but there's reason for optimism so far.
Through two preseason games, Buehler has converted 6 of 7 attempts, including all three last night. Two were chip shots (as were his conversions in the Hall of Fame Game), but one was from 42 yards, helping erase the memory of an ugly 49-yard miss in the opener.
Buehler also put four kickoffs in the end zone, after leading the league in touchbacks last year. Dallas is hoping to only spend one roster spot on a kicker this year; it would be hard for Buehler to be less reliable than last year's field goal kickers, so why not.
The fact that Buehler has attempted 7 kicks in two preseason games indicates how valuable he could be in fantasy leagues if he wins the job. Powerful offense on a team that should win some games, but occasionally misfires down in the red zone. Good situation.

when drafting a kicker I do kind of favor the kickers that kick indoors and he does have a big leg
