Now entering his 4th year in the NFL and at age 24, Calvin Johnson and Randy Moss collide in a Speed Bump poll, Moss entering his 13th season at age 33. It's the receiver nicknamed The Freak as an NFL rookie versus one commonly know as Megatron.
Thru three NFL seasons Calvin Johnson has averaged 64-1,024-7 TD per season but at QB he has played with 34-year-old Jon Kitna (who was actually the best QB in Calvin's career thus far ) in 2007; suffered on the first ever 0-16 NFL team with Dan Orlovsky, Daunte Culpepper, Drew Stanton and Drew Henson under center in 2008; then a rookie QB in 2009. At the 2007 NFL Combine, Calvin weighed in at 6'5" and 239 lbs (he's currently listed at 236 officially) and a blistering 4.35 40-yard dash. He also logged an 11-foot standing broad jump and a 43" vertical leap. Calvin has averaged an impressive 15.9 yards each and every time he catches the ball in the NFL.
After bottoming out in 2006 with a 553-yard season in 2006 as an Oakland Raider, the great Randy Moss has averaged 15.7 TDs per season in three years as a Patriot. There was no flirting with 23 TDs again last year, but the return of QB Tom Brady netted another solid season (83-1,263-13 TD) for Moss. All-time, Moss is 10th in receptions at 926 (he'll pass Andre Reed and Art Monk this season), 6th in receiving yards (he should be #2 after 2010), and is already #2 in reception TDs, trailing only Jerry Rice (197 to 148).
