Michael Vick's huge night

Posted Nov. 17 at 04:49 AM

Michael Vick’s monster game on Monday night weighs in as arguably the best ever by a quarterback in the modern era – 333 passing yards, 80 rushing yards and a combined 6 TDs. It also comes in at No. 3 at any position since the merger in 1970.

The top 20 games appear below. For this chart, fantasy points are based on 6 points for TDs, 4 for TD passes, 1 for every 10 run/rec yards, and 1 for every 20 passing yards. Scoring systems vary from league to league, but Vick’s performance certainly ranks as an all-timer.

I attended this game - http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/199710120tam.htm - and it DID feel like being at a Super Bowl for two plays; two of the three longest runs of Barry Sanders' career. Can't say the Bucs never gave me anything. Now as for the damned Bills ...
