Seahawks free agent receiver D.J. Hackett has signed a two-year contract worth $3.5 million with Carolina. He replaces Drew Carter, who signed a one-year deal worth $2 million last week with the Raiders.
While signing a lesser contract, Hackett is a better player than Carter.
This is just the latest development in what has been a peculiar offseason for Oakland.
