Factoid
With there being three games on Thanksgiving, that begs the question: Do teams tend to score more (or fewer) points with the advantage (or disadvantage) of playing three days early. Now that the NFL Network hosts Thursday games for half of the year, there more data that can be examined.
The result, as often is the case when you look into these kind of things, is a big yawn. Over the last four years, in all of the Thursday games, there have been average of 43.0 points scored. That’s exactly the same as the other games in the same time period.
Have a great Thanksgiving.
