Miller looks like solid tight end

Posted Mar. 17 at 02:43 PM

Not much has gone right for the Raiders in recent years, but they appear to have picked up a solid tight end with their second-round pick last year in Zach Miller from Arizona State.

Miller started 16 games and caught 44 passes in his rookie year. That’s more than 29 of the 32 tight ends selected with first-round picks in the last 30 years. And looking at the following list, the vast majority of the guys listed near the top ended up having very good careers.

I added Zach to my list of sleeper TEs. Without a solid QB situation, trouble with WRs, and lots of run touches, more catches may go his way.
