Odds shift on 'Longest Yard' game

Posted Apr. 06 at 02:04 AM

I think Michael Vick will play football in the NFL again. Owner Arthur Blank told the Atlanta Journal Constitution about a week back that he wouldn’t rule out Vick potentially playing again for the Falcons. I’m not sure that he’ll play for Atlanta, but I think he’ll play for some team.

Now, The Daily News reports that Vick is actually playing football right now – prison-yard football at the United States Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kan.

It’s all in a column that Gary Myers penned for today’s issue. It can be accessed right here.

Right now, Vick is scheduled to be released from prison in July of 2009. He’s also facing additional state charges and has been suspended indefinitely by the league, so if he’s going to return to the league, it more likely would be in 2010, when he’s 30 years old.
