Around the NFL
Randy Moss is hanging them up. Getting little interest on the free agent market, he'll supposedly retire rather than take a one-year deal for modest money, perhaps in a less than ideal situation.
He's only 34.
At the NFL.com website, they have a nice video showing his top 10 games. Can't disagree with the Thanksgiving Day game against the Cowboys, with the three long touchdowns.
Perhaps even more interesting would be a video showing Moss' top 10 off-field controversies. And it might be hard to settle for just 10. There was a water bottle squirting incident in a loss at St. Louis, the mooning celebration at Lambeau and his declaration that he "plays when he wants to play." Moss also admitted once that he likes to smoke pot occasionally, and there was the infamous "Randy Ratio" with Mike Tice. In my top couple would be a parking lot incident in Minnesota, where he drove into a meter maid who was trying to stop his car.

Telling Al Davis where to stick it should actually go into the credit side of Moss's ledger.

In all honesty, don't we all want to run over meter maids?
