In red zone, it's Miller time

Tight end Heath Miller doesn’t catch a lot of passes (at least he hasn’t so far), but he is a big part of Pittsburgh’s red zone offense. He’s scored 6, 5 and 7 TDs in his first three years in the pros.

That gives Miller 18 TDs in his first three seasons. That’s more than any tight end selected in the first round since Kellen Winslow – the original Kellen Winslow – got selected by San Diego back in 1979.

The below chart shows the 32 tight ends selected with first-round picks since the NFL went to a 16-game schedule in 1978, with total TDs scored in their first three seasons.
