Fanex Experts League, draft update

Posted May. 15 at 01:34 PM

I did wind up making the trade for Steven Jackson. I gave Jim Butler (the creator of Global Fantasy Football Leagues) picks 1.08 and 2.05. He gave me Jackson and pick 2.08.

I like this trade, because I think Jackson will be very good in this format. He catches a lot of passes, and he’s a damn good running back. He had some injury problems last year and also had to play for most of the year without Orlando Pace, but he still did pretty well. During the second half of the season, Jackson ran for 728 yards, scored 6 TDs and had 28 catches for 205 yards. With the point-per-reception scoring format, you can just consider those 205 receiving yards to be 485 receiving yards.

On my board, Jackson the No. 2 running back in type of scoring system. Now, I just need to sit back and hope he stays healthy.
