Around the NFL
Are we going to see games canceled? Are we going to see the ultimate test of a fantasy leaguer’s skills – replacement players?
The NFL owners today unanimously voted to opt out of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The big deadline is now next March. If an agreement isn’t reached by that time, then 2010 will be an uncapped year – that would be fun to see.
According to the owners, however, there’s currently no danger of a strike or lockout for the next three seasons. The 2011 season would be the earliest possible one that could face the possibility of canceled games.
