Fantasy News
The final analysis portion of the Fanex draft has been posted, and there’s no consensus on which of the 12 teams is the best.
This is the experts league that drafts each year in May/June. Teams draft 20 guys, and scoring is done on a best-ball basis – no lineups or waiver moves. Scoring is fairly standard, with the exception of there being a flex player and also 1 point per reception.
Experts are asked to provide a writeup for each pick. And at the end of the thing, each expert is asked to name which owner has drafted the team to beat. In that poll, nobody’s team gets named more than twice. So it appears to be wide open – at least based on a survey of the guys.
Since the draft, there have been a couple of notable NFL moves. The Broncos released Travis Henry, elevating Selvin Young’s stock. And the Bears cut loose Cedric Benson. Those moved happened after those players were selected in this league. Greg Kellogg selected Henry late in the fifth round. T.C. Cannon selected both Benson (9.02) and Young (10.11).
