Darling, Webb are frontrunners for starting job

Posted Jun. 17 at 09:54 AM

An article in today’s Kansas City Star indicates that Devard Darling or Jeff Webb likely will start at wide receiver for Kansas City this year.

One starting job already belongs to Dwayne Bowe. The other one is up for grabs. The team signed Devard Darling, who finished last season as the No. 3 receiver in Baltimore, but Webb might also have a chance at that job.

“It’s all about who performs the best,” Webb says.

The story was written by Jeffrey Flanagan. It appears at the Kansas City Star website.
