Favre trade could be coming

Posted Jul. 25 at 08:56 AM

The Packers and Brett Favre are talking. Right now, the most likely scenario is that he’ll be traded to a new team.

“Brett definitely wants to play, but it may take awhile. The Packers are hoping that some team has a big injury and then is forced to make a deal,” a team source tells Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports. “You look around and if somebody is injured, like maybe Donovan McNabb in Philadelphia or (Jake) Delhomme in Carolina, the Packers are hoping that makes a team like that say, ‘Hey, there’s a guy out there who can help us right now,’”

Adam Schefter of the NFL Network says Favre intends to show up to the Packers training camp. It could, however, be a short-term stay. Most likely, he’ll be moved within a week or two.

GB better hope that the major injury isnt theirs after they trade the old man.

Wow! what a blunder that would be for Packer management! Aaron Rodgers is fragile! Trust me! Looks like Brian Brohm will get a chance to show what he can do. I think he is better than Aaron right now! Good Luck!

Trade Favre to who ever you want. They will then trade him to the Vikings where he wants to be. Unbelievable after all these years and rivalry that he respects the Vikes the most! If you're a fantasy person you should watch this closely. Favre in Minnesota will produce a Championship at least for your fantasy team!
