Around the NFL
The receivers in Jacksonville are dropping like flies.
First Jerry Porter, who underwent surgery on his hamstring that could sideline him intot he regular season. Now Reggie Williams. He missed the first few days of camp while resting a knee that he tweaked running stairs at the stadium. Then he injured the knee shortly into his first practice.
The surgery will be of the arthroscopic variety. Jack Del Rio today declined to offer a timetable on Williams' return.
There’s a story on the injury at the team website.
